PS.

Just come back from our goodnight visit and we have been told by the nurse that the majority of patients with brain injury’s do a night day swap thingy which rights itself eventually. So at the moment some of Joel’s ‘wake’ time is at night. Comforting to know.

The words to this vineyard song keep coming to mind when I think of what yoiu are all going through. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Grant & Amy Borrows (and Hayden)

Your love is amazing, steady and unchanging
Your love is a mountain, firm beneath my feet
Your love is a mystery, how You gently lift me
When I am surrounded, Your love carries me

Dear Cheryll and family, along with many, many others I have been praying for you all. I wanted to let you know that having gone through EXACTLY the same roller coaster with my husband when he suffered head injuries, I can truly TRULY say that the doctors - whilst doing the very best that is humanly possible to care for our loved ones - are still ONLY human, and that it is our sovereign Father God who KNOWS the end from the beginning, and HE is STILL completely in control of what is happening - not just for Joel -but for each of you. On another matter, if you haven't taken a photo for Joel for future, then I really encourage you to do so - not to share with others - but for him to 'piece together' things in his own memory once he has recovered. Love and prayers, Shelley

You are all soo in our prayers. Don't know how people cope that have no faith in the Lord, or assurance of His real love and concern for each detail of our lives. My prayer is that you will dayly rest under the shelter of His wings, that you will let Him carry you all through this very trying time, like Shadrach, and his friends, you will see that the Lord is with you in this firey furnace. May God richly bless you all and be your constant strength.

Much love Tina and Ralph G

I'm sure you guys will have taken a photo - I still look at the one we took of our sleepy boy and look at it and remember and it was nearly 14 years ago now - a must have...

Hi Kev and Cheryll and family,

big hugs to you all, prayers going up tonight from us. I have a 15 yr old step son and just trying to imagine him in Joels position got me choked up. Yes, praying for an awesome miracle, although as someone else on here said, you don't get miracles unless you are in a place that is difficult and even heartbreaking. We've been there (long battle with fertility) and finally won 4 months ago and are expecting a baby this year - PRAISE GOD for answered prayers! Hold on to hope and the amazing PEACE that comes when you know Almighty God is the only answer.

Will check back often to hear good reports!
